Bunnahabhain – 18 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain 18 Years Old is an Islay single malt matured for 18 years in sherry casks, in a 75cl bottle at 46.3% abv. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at natural colour, which shows as a deep mahogany. The distillery's warehouses sit along the shore, beside a bay fed by the Sound of Islay, so the whisky matures in salty sea air. The nose brings dried fruit, honeyed nuts, toffee and a little spice. On the palate come mellow sherried nuts, dried fruit and rich oak with toffee, and a slight tang of salt. The finish is dry and fruity, with spice and salt.
