A 14 year old Bunnahabhain from Islay, bottled by Duncan Taylor at 54.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023, with 79 bottles produced.
After maturing in oak, the whisky had a three month finish in an octave cask. Before the finish it showed sea air, lemon sponge, vanilla essence, ginger and an oily texture. Afterwards the notes turned to dark chocolate, maple syrup, leather, a coastal edge and sweet sherry.
