Bunnahabhain – 18 Years (46.3%)

Bunnahabhain 18 Years is an Islay single malt in a reissued bottling, now at 46.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The flavour stays close to the earlier bottling, though the higher strength makes the aromas noticeably more intense. The nose is fresh and aromatic, with sea air, sweetness and a hint of smoke. The palate is clean, with light fruit and a nutty, malty sweetness. It is elegant, with hardly any smoke. The finish is rich, full-bodied and long-lasting. The colour is golden.
