Bunnahabhain – 25 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, with a strong sherry influence running through it. After 25 years in cask it has built up layers of sweet oak and nutty flavour, with sherry, caramel and berries and cream balanced by roasted nuts. The nose is rich sherry opening into sweet caramel and polished leather. The palate begins with sweet berries and cream, then moves to roasted nuts and malt. The finish is soft and dry, with a hint of sugar and spiced oak that lingers.
