A 29 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2019 by Moon Import under its Lawless label. It comes from a single cask, which gave 219 bottles at 45% ABV.
Moon Import is an Italian independent bottler, founded in Genoa in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino. Bunnahabhain stands on the north-east of Islay, and its name means mouth of the river. Unlike most Islay distilleries, it dries its malt with warm air rather than peat.
