A 31 year old Bunnahabhain from Islay, bottled by Murray McDavid in its Mission Gold range as a single cask. The whisky was distilled in 1991, finished in a Koval bourbon cask and bottled in 2023, with 67 bottles in the outturn. It is not chill-filtered and is of natural colour.
The nose has dried mango, salted fudge and vanilla. The palate shows sea spray, cooked pineapple and hops, followed by an oily finish with burnt orange and sweet oak char.
