This is a 7 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 2007 and bottled in summer 2015 by Douglas Laing. It is a single cask bottling at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, from the series that was previously called The McGibbon's before becoming Provenance. The nose begins with an old-fashioned barber shop scent of hairdressing oils and shaving cream, followed by soft barley and sea air. The palate is rich and sweet, malty in the manner of Horlicks, with some spice. The finish brings mint, barley sugar, peppery warmth and a syrupy texture.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
