Bunnahabhain – Eirigh na Greine (1L)

Bunnahabhain Eirigh na Greine is an Islay single malt in a 100cl bottle, first released for the travel retail market. The Gaelic name means morning sky. Part of the whisky was matured in red wine casks, which brings juicy berry notes alongside sea salt and orchard fruit. The nose shows toasted sugar, vanilla, raspberries and a little honey. On the palate are apricot, sea salt and black pepper, with more berry sweetness from the wine casks. The finish is smoky, fairly long and slightly spicy.
