This is an 11 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, from its Staoisha peated line, bottled by Best Dram as a single cask at cask strength. It was distilled on 13 October 2014 and matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, cask no. 10390, before bottling on 3 November 2025 at 55.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The outturn is 229 bottles, and the whisky is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
Salty sea spray and peat smoke lead the nose, with vanilla, fresh fruit and gooseberries with meringue behind. The palate is full of maritime peat, and the finish is very long, lightly fruity and sweet, ending in dry peat smoke.
