Bunnahabhain – (Staoisha) 6 Year Old 2020 Fragrant Drops (60%)

This is a 6 year old heavily peated Islay single malt, made at Bunnahabhain under the Staoisha name and bottled for the Fragrant Drops series. It was distilled in 2020 and matured fully in a single first-fill ex-red wine barrique, then bottled in 2026 at a natural cask strength of 60% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Staoisha is the heavily peated spirit of Bunnahabhain, a different character from the distillery's unpeated core range. The red wine cask brings dark berries, black cherries, rich chocolate and warming spice, alongside earthy peat smoke, maritime salinity and an oily texture.
