Cadenhead’s 2008 16 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Enigma is a whisky from Cadenhead's. Aged 16 years, bottled at 51.9% ABV, 70cl. Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead’s is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises - located next to the Springbank distillery - also features their own shop offering a variety of bottled spirits from different distilleries. With their own warehouse stocked full of exciting whiskies, rums, cognacs and more; Cadenhead’s can always be relied upon to bottle high quality spirits free from artificial colouring and chill filtration. Cadenhead’s Enigma series are just that - unusual, hard to quantify, perhaps even slightly contradictory. They can be single casks, vattings of multiple casks, blends or blended malts. About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
