Cadenhead's Enigma is a 35 year old blended malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 168 bottles and combines several single malts, with no grain whisky.
The blend spent its 35 years in a refill sherry butt. Cadenhead's tasting panel picked out plenty of fruit, including melon, tropical fruits, pineapple and strawberry jam.
On the nose it offers toasted oak, melon, tropical fruits and coconut. The palate brings pineapple, banana, oatcakes and strawberry jam, and the finish is grapefruit, pineapple and malt.
