Canadian Mist is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made at the Canadian Mist Distillery in Collingwood, Ontario, which was established in 1967 on the shores of Georgian Bay and draws its water from the bay.
The whisky is triple-distilled from corn, malted barley and rye, then aged in oak barrels.
Vanilla and caramel lead the nose, with mild fruit, light oak and a faint citrus note. The palate is sweet with corn and toffee, then brown sugar, dried fruit, gentle rye spice and a little chocolate. The finish is clean and slightly dry, with soft oak, vanilla and a peppery close.
