Canadian Mist (175cl, 40%)

Canadian Mist is a blended Canadian whisky at 40% ABV (80 proof), here in a 1.75L bottle. It is made at the Collingwood distillery in Ontario, which dates from 1968, using water from Georgian Bay. The whisky is triple-distilled from corn, malted barley and rye, matured in charred oak and blended with a lighter grain whisky before bottling. It is typically described as light vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, with a soft, sweet palate of vanilla, light caramel and mild spice. The finish is mellow, smooth and clean.
