Canadian Mist is a triple-distilled blended Canadian whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 375ml bottle. It is made at the Canadian Mist Distillery in Collingwood, Ontario, in column stills from corn, rye and barley malt. The water comes from Georgian Bay, and the master blender finishes the blend with a touch of sherry from a neighbouring vineyard.
The nose has toffee and vanilla, then grassy grain, with light citrus and a resinous, nutty note appearing over time. The palate is soft and sweet, with caramel, vanilla, rye spice and a hint of dark fruit. The finish is short to medium and dry, with lemon zest and vanilla.
