Caol Ila 2010 is a 10 year old Islay single malt, distilled in 2010 and bottled by Signatory at 43%.
The nose is classic Caol Ila: fresh smoke, a little citrus and a deep sweetness behind the smoke, with red gooseberries, cherry sweets and tart chocolate. The palate brings burnt toast, cherry candy, orange, wet stone and black pepper. The finish carries dark chocolate, orange peel and lasting peat smoke.
