This is a single malt from Caol Ila, released for Fèis Ìle 2014, the Islay festival, and bottled at a cask strength of 55.5% ABV. It was selected by David Wood, the distillery's new manager, who carries on the work of Billy Stitchell.
The whisky was matured in refill American oak hogsheads, and 1,500 bottles were released as a limited edition.
