Caol Ila Moch is a single malt from the Islay distillery. Moch is a Gaelic word meaning dawn.
It is the first single malt from the distillery chosen entirely on flavour, so age, cask type, strength and any finishing played no part in the selection.
The nose is creamy and lemony. The palate is velvety and smooth with a medium body, and the peat is clearly present. The finish is dry, sooty and reminiscent of ash.
