This Caperdonich is a 1991 vintage from Speyside, bottled under the Secret Speyside label. It matured in American oak hogsheads and was bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration. The nose is sweet, with strawberries, ripe peach, apricot jam, honey and a hint of mint. On the palate come blueberries and baked apple crumble, then chocolate, chai tea and ginger. The finish is rich and spicy.
