Caperdonich 25 Year Old Peated is an official bottling from the Secret Speyside Collection. It comes from a Speyside distillery that closed in 2002 and was later demolished. The whisky was matured for 25 years in hogsheads and bottled at natural cask strength. It is made from peated spirit, a side of Caperdonich's output that many whisky drinkers did not know existed, which gives the release a smoky character.
