Capurro Pisco Torontel (75cl, 41.5%)

A single-varietal Peruvian pisco, a Puro made entirely from Torontel grapes grown on the Capurro family estate in Nasca, Ica. The vineyards sit at 428 metres, and the grapes are harvested by hand once a year. The grapes are pressed once, fermented naturally into wine and distilled a single time in a copper pot. The pisco then rests for at least a year and is bottled at 41.5% in a 75cl bottle, undiluted and unfiltered, with nothing added. The nose is herbal and floral, with jasmine, cucumber and candied fennel. The palate brings nectarine skin and bright grape fruit, with a clean, oily texture.
