This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Cardhu, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It is an easy-going whisky with clean, crisp oak and sweet malt. It has a golden honey colour.
The nose is heady with a prickle, pear drops, heather, resin and sweet honey-nut notes. The palate is smooth and well balanced, sweet and fresh, then drying. The finish is fairly short, with lingering sweet smoke.
