This is a 12 year old Cardhu single malt Scotch whisky from a bottling made in the 1990s. It comes in a stout decanter with a wooden stopper. Cardhu is a Speyside distillery. After John Walker and Sons bought it in the mid 1800s, its whisky went almost entirely into Johnnie Walker blends, and single malt bottlings only began to reach drinkers in the 1980s.
