This is a 14 year old Cardhu, released in the 2021 Diageo Special Release series. It is a delicate, light-bodied single malt with fruity, meadow-sweet aromas and a floral note of Parma violets.
The nose is mild and fresh, with white grape, lychee, green apple, pear, a trace of orange zest and buttery pastry, and a light spice from wine-seasoned wood. The palate is soft and creamy, with home-made toffee sweetness, Parma violets, red apple and pear, and crisp oak. The finish is short, sweet, clean and warming.
