Cardhu 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is rich in body while keeping a delicate Cardhu character, and it opens slowly in the glass. A single teaspoon of water is said to release its flavours. It was named Best Speyside Single Malt 2016 at the World Whisky Awards.
The nose brings pears, plums, currant and a hint of pineapple. On the palate it is pleasantly sweet, with rich fruit and chocolate.
