Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth (1L, 16.5%)

Carpano Antica Formula is a sweet Italian vermouth from Turin, in a 1 litre bottle. Its recipe is traced back to 1786, when Antonio Benedetto Carpano first blended Moscato wine with herbs and spices. It is made for stirred drinks such as the Negroni, Manhattan and Boulevardier, and it also works over a large ice cube with an orange twist as an Italian aperitivo. The nose brings vanilla, dried fig, saffron and bitter orange peel. The palate is rich and rounded, with caramel, raisin, baking spice and a gentian root bitterness. It finishes long and bittersweet, with cocoa and dried herbs.
