Carpathian Cabernet Sauvignon Cask is a single malt finished in red wine barrels, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky first matured for over three years in 200-litre casks of select bourbon made from white American oak.
It was then moved into 225-litre Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, where it finished for 11 months. Those finishing casks came from the producer's own winery, Domeniile Alexandrion Rhein 1892.
