Casa Dragones Añejo Barrel Blend is an añejo tequila from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, made from 100% Blue Weber agave. It is aged in new French oak and new American oak barrels, then blended so both woods show while the agave stays central. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is intended for slow sipping.
The nose brings fresh floral notes, pear, fig and roasted almonds. The palate has macadamia nut, nutmeg spice and blackberry fruit, with oak kept in balance. The finish is long, round and smooth, with cacao, black pepper and warming oak depth.
