A 15 year old barrel proof Tennessee spirit, Edition No. 3 of Cascade Moon, a new line from the Cascade Hollow Distilling Company of George Dickel.
It was distilled from a mash of corn, rye and malt and aged in new charred American oak barrels in single-storey warehouses. Conditions in those barrels were unusual during ageing, and the proof fell below the minimum required to call the spirit a whisky.
