George Dickel – x Leopold Bros Collaboration Blend Rye Whisky (75cl, 50%)

This is a collaboration between George Dickel and Leopold Bros, two American whiskey makers. It blends column-distilled rye from George Dickel's Cascade Hollow Distillery with rye from Leopold Bros' Three Chamber Still. It is bottled at 100 proof (50%) in a 750ml bottle, as a limited edition. The nose has ripe orchard fruit, honey, toasted oak and baking spices with a subtle floral lift. The palate shows caramelised sugar, apricot and peppery rye spice with vanilla and herbal notes. The finish is long and warm, leaving oak, clove and sweet grain.
