Casey Jones Barrel Cut Double Barrel (75cl)

Casey Jones Barrel Cut Double Barrel is a cask-strength Kentucky specialty spirit from Casey Jones Distillery in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in a 750ml bottle. It is made from Kentucky corn and cane rather than a bourbon mash bill, so the distillery does not call it bourbon. It is double-barrelled: first aged in charred new oak for up to about three years, then in spent Casey Jones Kentucky Straight Bourbon barrels, for up to four years in total. Each batch is bottled at its own strength. The distillery describes a nose of dark fruit and cocoa, a sweet body with dark cherry, and a chocolate finish.
