Casey Jones White Label Bourbon (57.5%)

Casey Jones White Label is a barrel-strength bourbon from Casey Jones Distillery in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, bottled at 57.5% without cutting or filtering. It is the distillery's flagship Mash Bill 1, a high-corn recipe of 96% corn, 3% rye and 1% malted barley, matured in new, charred American white oak. It is distilled in a square copper pot still, a design that goes back to the founder's grandfather, a Prohibition-era still maker known for his coffin stills. The nose is described as creamed corn, vanilla bean ice cream, almond and pear. The palate is viscous, with toasted brown sugar, caramel corn and plums, and the finish is long, with cinnamon, white pepper, caramel sauce and orange zest.
