This is a 33 year old single cask Tormore from the Cask Masters range by Brave New Spirits, bottled at 49.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel and yielded 190 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky is waxy and almost fatty, with butter-baked apples and aloe vera tea.
On the nose it offers butter, sesame oil, fresh apples, cut greenery and lavender. The palate brings coconut macarons, fruit jellies in green tea, candied apple and tinned peach. The finish is medium and oily, with a gentle nuttiness.
