Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye 92 PF is the distiller's edition of the distillery's Roundstone Rye. Only one barrel in every ten is chosen for it.
It came from several years of planning. Barrels that had been put away in storage were pulled from the back of the barn, and the more interesting ones were released at a higher proof than the 80 proof Roundstone Rye.
The aim was a whisky chosen for its flavour that remains smooth.
