It is an annual release commemorating the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The mash bill is 85% malted rye, 12% corn and 3% malted barley. It was distilled in a single season and aged for four years in a federally bonded warehouse, then bottled at 100 proof with only water added. The distillery describes bold spice and hints of toasted biscuit at first, with the sweetness of Iowa corn on the finish.
