Cedar Ridge Straight Rye is an Iowa rye whiskey bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle, aged for a minimum of three years in new charred American oak. The mash bill is 85% rye: 51% malted rye and 34% rye, with 12% corn and 3% malted barley. It is made grain to glass at the distillery in Swisher.
The nose is aromatic spice, caramel and vanilla. The palate has bold rye spice over toasted oak with a touch of malt sweetness, and the finish is long, with warm baking spices and oak.
