A red wine from Il Poggiolino in the Chianti Classico zone of Tuscany, made mainly from Sangiovese. Selected grapes and ageing in oak barrels support its tannic structure and aromatic complexity. Deep ruby with garnet reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, black pepper and earthy undergrowth notes. The palate is full-bodied and balanced, with lively freshness and a long finish. It pairs well with Tuscan dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina and game sauces.
