Rosso Toscana IGT Roncaia from Il Poggiolino is made in the Tuscan hills from a selected blend of native grape varieties. It has an enveloping character and a balanced structure.
Ageing in wooden casks gives it an aromatic complexity with fruity and spicy notes, with elegant hints of cherry, plum and light tobacco. On the palate it is soft and persistent, with refined tannins. It suits traditional Tuscan dishes such as grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
