This is a single cask Chichibu from Ichiro's Malt, released for travel retail in Japan as one of 303 bottles, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in December 2010 and first aged in a single ex-bourbon cask. It was then finished in a single ex-Oloroso sherry cask, number 2642, before bottling in October 2016.
Chichibu is a Japanese distillery in Saitama Prefecture, started by Ichiro Akuto. It was established in 2007 and began production in 2008. Its wash backs are made of Mizunara, and its small stills have steep lyne arms.
