A single cask Chichibu from Japan, distilled in 2014 and bottled at a cask strength of 59.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was made with Concerto barley and matured in an ex-beer barrel, which gives the whisky a fruit-forward character with a light hoppy edge.
The nose is green apple, lemon peel, apricot and candied orange. On the palate there is grapefruit and peach, with soft malt and hops.
