This Chichibu is a 7 year old Japanese single malt, distilled in 2017 and bottled at a full 65% in a 70cl bottle. It is a single cask of heavily peated spirit matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel (#8273).
It was released as a Japan-only exclusive for Mitsukoshi Isetan in Tokyo.
Chichibu distillery stands in Saitama Prefecture and was established in 2007 by Ichiro Akuto's Venture Whisky, which began production there in 2008.
