This is a Chichibu bottling from a first fill red wine cask, made at a small distillery in Chichibu city, Saitama, just outside Tokyo. The distillery was founded in 2004, is owned by Venture Whisky and runs with nine full-time employees. It takes its name from the city where it stands. The whisky was bottled exclusively for a Japanese department store group.
