Ichiro's DD is a Japanese blended malt from Chichibu, bottled at 46% ABV in a long-neck bottle. It combines malt whisky from the historic Hanyu distillery with malt from Chichibu, the distillery founded by Ichiro Akuto.
Part of the maturation took place in Japanese oak. Tasting notes mention malt, yellow fruit, vanilla, spice and oak, with subtle hints of mizunara.
