A single malt from the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan, made as an exclusive for Whisky Live Paris 2025. This Harajuku release pays tribute to the Tokyo district known for creative fashion and street culture. It is one of 414 bottles, part of a set of six colours totalling 2,484 bottles.
It is lightly peated and was matured in a combination of bourbon casks, sherry casks and Japanese Mizunara oak.
The nose is creamy and malty with cinnamon, passion fruit, lychee, grape, blackberry and plum. The palate opens oily and peaty with citrus and pepper, then turns honeyed and waxy. The finish is long, with gentian, mint, eucalyptus, toffee and bourbon vanilla.
