Chichibu – Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve (70cl)

Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, rumoured to be a vatting of malt from the closed Hanyu distillery with malt from the younger Chichibu distillery. It was matured, married and bottled at Chichibu, and was first released in 2010. The whisky is finished in French oak wine casks. The Ichiro's Malt brand is produced by Venture Whisky and named after its founder, Ichiro Akuto, who established the company in 2004 and opened Chichibu in 2008.
