Chichibu London Edition 2022 is a Japanese release from the distillery founded by Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of Hanyu distillery.
It is a blend of nine casks, including Cognac, oloroso and chibidaru casks, and the edition ran to 1,861 bottles.
The nose is described as pear tarte tatin with fresh vanilla, toasted coconut, mango and guava. The palate is full of tropical fruit and incense spice.
