This is the ninth Chichibu London Edition, a single malt from Chichibu I made up of 16 casks. They include first-fill and second-fill Bourbon barrels, along with two wine casks from New Zealand and California.
The label completes the Warrior Series that began in 2024. Raj Chavda of Elixir Distillers designed it, drawing on Japanese Musha-e warrior prints, and shows a warrior facing a serpent. It glows in the dark.
The nose offers vanilla, honey, whipped cream and grapefruit peel. Apricot and peach lead the palate, and the finish brings vanilla custard with a lingering touch of white pepper.
