Chichibu – Paris Edition 2025 Ichiro's Malt Montmartre Asakusa (70cl)

This is the 2025 Chichibu Paris Edition, a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle. Chichibu, founded by Ichiro Akuto, has made a blend dedicated to Paris every year since 2018. The 2025 edition looks at Paris and Tokyo through their neighbourhoods, and the label shown here pairs Montmartre with Asakusa. Six pop-style labels pay tribute to Japanese kawaii culture. The blend draws on new French oak barrels, a Spanish oak ex-sherry barrel, French oak ex-Bordeaux red wine barrels, an American oak hogshead, bourbon barrels and two bourbon barrels that once held heavily peated whisky. The whiskies are between five and fourteen years old, built on a malty framework with earthy, fruity and spicy character.
