Chicken Cock Double Oak is an 8-year-old Kentucky whiskey from a brand that has been making whiskey since 1856.
After its first maturation, the Kentucky whiskey was re-barrelled into new American oak barrels from West Virginia for an additional year. The second barrel is there to show how much the cooperage matters to the way the whiskey is made, and each tree is selected for the barrels it will become.
