Chivas Regal 25 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, aged for at least 25 years.
The brothers James and John Chivas set out to make a lighter whisky that a wider public could enjoy, blending finely aged malt whiskies with grain whiskies. By 1843 James Chivas held the Royal Warrant to supply the court.
The nose is warm and fruity, with apricot and peach. On the palate there is chocolate and orange. The result is a balanced, surprisingly round Scotch whisky.
